Vanessa Ma - Solicitor

Vanessa provides advice and comes up with ideas to solve clients legal problems, helping them in stressful situations and making sure that they are informed about what is happening every step of the way.

Vanessa has joined Jones fee with five years legal experience and a passion for client service.

Graduating from Auckland University with a BA (in political science) LLB and as a senior prize winner Vanessa joined a West Auckland law firm doing general civil litigation work and then moved to a boutique insurance litigation firm focussing on professional indemnity and marine work.

Vanessa initially became interested in a law career while she was at school because of her talents in english, history and debating. It has proven to be the perfect career choice for her – providing continuous opportunities to keep learning and adding to her knowledge and a real sense of achievement at being able to help people.

In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys entertaining friends and family, reading, and is an avid sports fan, particularly cricket and rugby.
